So my last post was from Summer of… 2010?! YIKES! Well now it’s January and a new year– 2012! πŸ˜€ YAY!

So I’m trying to get over a cold right now… but I recently came back from Florida! It was my first time and I’ve always wanted to go there. πŸ™‚ I got to go to Disney World for my 16th birthday, and I saw the Atlantic ocean for the first time! I had LOTS of fun!

Anyway, I guess we’ll see what this year has in store for all of us. πŸ™‚

First day of SUMMER!

June 21, 2010

Hey there everyone! πŸ˜€ Happy first day of Summer to all ya!

I haven’t posted about Toy Story 3 yet….sorry 😦 I forgot to on Saturday, then on Sunday I had church, then went outside to play, and then forgot after all of that, and now today I’m going outside to play some more! But believe me, I WILL get it up. I’m going to be talking about Toy Story 3 in a future post when I talk about some others movies that I either want to see, or have seen and I liked them A LOT. πŸ˜‰

So anyways, I wish you all the best first day of Summer! πŸ™‚

Lots of warm love, (haha! I made a joke! ;D)

Strange things

June 19, 2010

Ok so today I go to watch TOY STORY 3!! πŸ˜€

This morning I woke up and saw the weirdest thing EVER! The sun looked like it was rising from the WEST, not the EAST….

It was the strangest thing….I wish I had thought of bringing my camera out. (Shoot! NOW I think of it!)

Oh well….I’ll hopfully post again after I’ve seen the movie, so just wait! Only a few more hours! πŸ˜€

Sooooo sorry!

June 19, 2010

Ok so not posting in my blog for weeks has nothing to do with me being super mad at Facebook for kicking me off and again and hurting my feelings….yeah, really. Who knew a website could break someone’s weak heart? :/

ANYWAY…that’s not why I haven’t been posting. Life happens and sometimes I haven’t even turned on my computer. 😦

But anyways, I’ll just tell you that tomorrow, around 2:00 PM over here in Tenny(LOL! That means Tennessee. :P), my family and I are gonna go see TOY STORY 3. YES. OOOOH YESSS.

“Stand back kids, I’ve waited 11 years for Toy Story 3.” -Quote a friend of mine retweeted on Twitter…all rights resurved. Heehee. πŸ™‚

Aside from that I’ll just tell you what I did today! πŸ˜€ Hooray! Right? RIGHT? …Right. πŸ˜›

So today me, Julie, Tiffany, & Mommy went to Grammy & Papa’s house while Ruthie went to Uncle Warren & Aunt Sharyn’s house to cook us up some yummy dinner!

After hangin’ out there for awhile, us ladys and girls went to Walmart (all rights resurved…again. Haha, I can’t help saying that πŸ˜‰ ) where it was nice and cool in there unlike outside which was BLAZING HOT! Woohoo! Summer is on it’s way! 8D (<– sun glasses with big grin…face.)

In Walmart we looked at some pools and they were like $50+ :/ So then, since me and Julie were so bored looking at expencive pools, I asked Mom if I could take Julie to the game department. After some talking to that I knew where it was and that I was resoponsible she let us go while they continued looking at pools.

So over there I saw like every game I wanted. I think I made the wrong choice going there but getting no game out of it all…but I think it was also fun to hang out with Julie. πŸ™‚

After we had looked at all the games, the others met up with us and we got some more ice cream. (YUM!) I don't think we got a new pool for Grammy & Papa, but we got other things so it was good. πŸ™‚ Yay!

And so we all had a great meal that Ruthie & Aunt Sharyn made. Billy didn't like it, but he never likes anything so it wasn't a big suprise to anyone. :/ makes me wonder…how I could ever had been so picky back when I was a kid? Oh well, I'm glad that I like lots of stuff that I used to ot like–or think I didn't like for that matter.

Well, that's all for this post! Have a wonderful rest of the day, Father's day, and First Day of SUMMER!!! πŸ˜€

Love ya'll! ❀ (<– that's a heart.)

AGAIN. WHY FACEBOOK?!

May 27, 2010

Ok so I go to Facebook and I’m logged out, but Twitter has also logged me out for no reason before so I tried logging in again, and it says my acount is DISABLED. AGAIN. That was my SECOND Facebook acount!

Well now I am sure Facebook:

-hates me for not breaking their rules.
-Is a dumb site that gets rid of users for fun because they have nothing better to do.

or

-They want less members.

Weird reasons I came up with but that’s all I can think of because I did NOTHING WRONG. Honestly, I don’t see the point in being on there anymore. So yeah….Goodbye Facebook. I hope I NEVER have to sign up on you EVER again.

(So please no one try to make me go back on because I’m NOT.)

There are plenty of days I can remember that I didn’t feel like going on there because it always loaded so slowly on my computer, so in a way I guess..this is good? Hooray! πŸ˜›

And sorry for being all mad and stuff…I just played Pokemon for an hour (YEAH I’M A GEEK. AAHH!!! πŸ˜› ) and I feel half asleep because I was up late last night because I had to make Daddy’s birthday card–who’s birthday is TOMORROW BY THE WAY! We’re having his party today though. πŸ™‚

Anyways, bye for now.

~Abbie

OK so last night me and Julie dearest go into our bedroom and read “The Silver Chair”–and may I add it was an awesome chapter as always πŸ˜‰

So after that Julie got in her PJs (I reminded her that she was still in her day clothes lol) and after that we ate the best snack in the world….POCKY! It was strawberry flavored. πŸ™‚

Soooo after that I grabed my DS and desided to play Pokemon Platinum Version. Now I still had to defeat a Gym leader named Maylene, who was a Fighting-Type Gym leader….now everyone is kind of lost right? πŸ˜›

Anyways, I desided to finally fight her (I was “training for the battle” all this time…which means: whenever I went on I trained for like 5 minutes then got off. πŸ˜› ) And to keep myself happy during all of this I had Julie sit next to me and we got under my blankets and watched me play. πŸ˜‰ lol everything is always better with Julie next to you!

So after a lot of other battles with extra trainers, I FINALLY reached Maylene!

So her first two Pokemon were practicly pushovers compared with my awesome, level 39, Empoleon, Prince. πŸ˜‰

But her last pokemon, Lucario, was using Drain Punch, an attack move that drains the target’s Health Points (UGH! SO ANNOYING!!), and some other move that I forgot about…heehee πŸ˜›

So after Prince got Paralized by the other-move-that-I-forgot-the-name-of I switched out to my Staravia, Arc, who did pretty much nothing before getting knocked out by the powerful Lucario.

Next I brought out my Golem, GeoMan, who also did only a bit of damage before getting knocked out.

Then I brought out my Korbat, Zen, and used the move Confusion, an attack thats name speaks for itself, and made Lucario confused so he couldn’t attack–and also hurt himself in his confusion! πŸ˜€ At that point my baby Zen (I cought him in his “child form” I’ll call it, which is a Zubat, and he’s always been my little baby Zubat. πŸ˜› ) was just sooo awesome. Soon Lucario snapped out of his confusion, and got back into the battle…and knocked Zen out..

My poor little baby.. 😦

So I only had two (ok, really three, but I didn’t bother counting Prince in this because he was paralized..) pokemon left to use….and that was my Grotle, Tortoise (LOL at his name right? πŸ˜› ), and my Monferno, Charlie. (LOL again at the awesome names I pick πŸ˜› )

So I asked Julie, since she is the pokemon expert to me, and she said Charlie would be the best to use.

So I bring out Charlie and Lucario hits him and now he’s almost knocked out…and I tell him to use Fire Blast (which earlier I told him to use but he failed to use it, but it IS his most powerful move.) and he TOTALLY OWNS LUCARIO!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! Me and Julie made so much noise Billy opened the door and asked what happend. Haha! πŸ˜›

Well after that we went off to bed. I’m very happy about getting my new Gym badge. πŸ™‚ These games can really make you care when stuff like this happens. πŸ˜‰

Well that’s all I got to say for now…have a good day everyone! πŸ™‚
(Sorry I was kind of on the geek topic again and not all of you play video games anyways…)

Narnia CRAZY!

May 12, 2010

Me and my sister, Julie, and both HUGE fans of the Narnia storys! Right now we’re reading “The Silver Chair,” which, I think, is off to a great start! …Though we only read one chapter every night, thus we’ve only read one chapter so far.

Everytime we finish a chapter, we read another book called “ROAR!”. It’s a book about the Narnia books. (plus some other things.) It gives you little quizes sometimes, and does some quoting, it talks about the chapter, and it’s all just lots of fun! It’s even more fun since I get to spend lots of time with Julie. πŸ™‚ She’s an awesome room mate! We’re like the bestest of friend sisters! πŸ˜‰

So anyways, I’m soooo pumped to just read more chapters right now! But Julie said: “it’s part of the thrill to wait each night to just read one.” I must say, she has a good point…but I want to read more noooww!!

Well I don’t know what else to say… except that I JUST CAN’T WAIT!–but you already knew that..

Oh, right. I like talking in an english accent now…maybe I should always talk like that? I think it would be fun. πŸ˜‰

Well, that’s all I got for now. Have a wonderful day! πŸ™‚

Yup! Today is Mommy’s Day! (Also known as Mother’s Day.)

This is going to be a short post…but all I want to say isn’t that much soooo…

Anyways, I hope all the mothers out there have had an AWESOME Mommy’s Day! πŸ™‚ Ya’ll are a blessing to your children and everyone you know. I hope you remember that today, as well as everyday!

I dunno if any of you ate out with family or just ate at home, but I hope your lunch was good–because I know mine was! πŸ˜‰ (PIZZAAA!!!)

Well I hope the mothers, and everyone else, had a great day! Despite the headache that has resently come crashing into my head, I am very happy today. πŸ˜›

Happy Mommy’s Day everyone!
~Abbie

(Please take note that I have a Nintendo Wii and DS (and so do my uncles back in California) so that’s why I’m listing these kinds of games. Besides, I listed board games last time πŸ˜‰ )

Hey everyone! Abbie is back after a very painful Sunday…(my finger hurt really badly yesterday, but it’s all better now! I just wonder what happened to it…) and 3 more days of emptyness in my blog…I guess it’s because I’m lazy…well, on with the reading! (don’t wanna keep you all night.)

So anyway, Monday morning I looked at some pictures on Facebook of what my family back in California did for Uncle Kevin’s birthday, and I saw two pictures of them playing Kevin’s Nintendo Wii. Seeing that made me remember about how sometimes we play Mario Kart Wii with them using Wi-Fi, which made me think about some others games that connect and are very fun!

The only types I know of are: Mario Kart, Cooking Mama (I’m not too fond on this one), Animal Crossing, and Pokemon games!

Mario Kart is where you get to race a kart(or car, or bike, which is more like it lol.) all the same as to a regular race…except you get to use items to try and win…and it’s allowed! ;D (unlike races in real life)

In Wi-Fi you can race other people that have the same game (and Wi-Fi for their Wii) and it’s lots of fun! Julie sometimes races Uncle Mitch, Uncle Justin, or Uncle Kevin. I don’t play it too much though so I’m not good at it like they are..

Cooking Mama is a game to practice cooking. You cook many different things (some of which, you will find in Japan. This is because Cooking Mama is a Japanese game that was translated into English) and if you do good enough you can get a score of 100 and Mama will say “Wow! Even better then Mama!”, which is true because through the WHOLE game you NEVER seem Mama cooking…it’s just you.

That one isn’t one of my favorites, but Julie loves it and she is a WIZ at it. (Though she’s a wiz at pretty much every game. ;P)

So now we come to Animal Crossing! One of my current favorites! πŸ˜€ It’s a game about living in a whole town full of different animals and TONS of stuff to do! Once you’ve “done it all” (but it never really ends!) you can play with friends over Wi-Fi! The game goes on the same time that your Nintendo Wii or DS is set to, so you can be playing years ahead of your time or years back! (It’s called time traveling, but I don’t suggest doing this.)

Next is Pokemon! So far there are 4 generations of Pokemon video games. (AWESOME RIGHT?!) Each generation is different than the one before in one way or another, so it’s not ever boring! (maybe training is, but that’s a different story.) Here are the verisons for DS (the Wii games are diffrent then the DS & Game Boy versions) : Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, HeartGold, & SoulSilver. You can also play the Game Boy versions in your DS! Here’s a list of them: FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald.
These are not ALL of the pokemon games, just the ones you can play on DS. (I’m too lazy to write the Wii games..)

In the game you train these animals called Pokemon (though I think you’d figure out what they are called by now. Lol!) to learn powerful moves, and after doing so you can take it to the pokemon gym. If you beat it you get a badge, then you go to the next gym and try to beat that one, and so on. Each gym is very different, and much harder as you go on.

In Wi-Fi mode you can battle your friends! In single battles it’s just you vs. 1 friend, but in double battles you can do Wi-Fi with 3 friends! One friend will be on your team, and two will be playing against you and that other friend. There aren’t any rewards for defeating a friend because it’s just for fun.

Well, that’s all I’ve got. I hope some of you go out and buy these games so we can play together! πŸ™‚

Have a wonderful day everyone!
~Abbie

Hello again! I’m here to talk about the weather…as of right now. πŸ˜‰

Now, as the title says, today’s weather here in Tennessee is rainy, windy, thunder and lightning sometimes, which can only mean….IT’S A STORM! A REALLY AWESOME ONE! πŸ˜€ I love storms! (most of the time…if there’s a blackout it’ll make me bored. Lol!) Storms are great because they are filled with awesome rain, huge winds, and the thunder and lightning just makes it all the better! Power outs aren’t fun because you’d have nothing to do! If you have a Nintendo DS (which I do) you can play that, but you have to hope you charged it well before the power out happened! Otherwise the DS will go out and you wouldn’t be able to charge it because the power is out! 😦 Then you’d be right back to square one…boredom.

But I guess there’s always board games, and they are rather nice when your bored…they were named after the bored people who created them you know. ;P

I haven’t played many board games lately because I’m never bored nowadays…but I know I like Monopoly! πŸ˜€ It’s fun!–and who doesn’t like a game with money in it? ;P Haha just kidding. Monopoly is great to play when you have lots of people because it’s great to hop squares and watch yourself grow rich while you watch another player spend all their paper cash on each spot they land on! ;D

Another great game is Apples to Apples! (My family loves this game!) I love it most because I like to see what kind of cards I get and see what I can play, and best of all–if I don’t have the right cards I’ll just throw something silly in and hope it makes the judge laugh! (and maybe even pick me if they know what the game is really about πŸ˜› ….I’m joking again by the way. Lol)

I also like the card game War. I played it a lot when I was younger (younger then I was yesterday…) and I really enjoyed it then, and I still like to play whenever I see those battle cards! πŸ˜‰

Believe it or not another thing you can do is read a book! (Lol! Look who’s talking. :P) I, surprising to those who know me well, have some books I like, and when I feel like reading them I just pick it up, lay on my bed, and read a chapter, and maybe two if I’m not half asleep by the end of the first chapter. Haha!

Another thing to do while you wait for the power to come on, this is one of the best things in my opinion by the way, is you can look out any area that lets you take a peek outside and watch the storm do its stuff! Storms are better then any other rain storm because they last longer and they throw down more water and faster because of the wind! (That’s what I believe anyways. Haha!)

So next time you see a storm falling right outside, think about what I’ve said! I’m sure this didn’t make us any smarter but at least we had a good long talk about what to do when the power is out! ;D

Don’t forget to watch for a rainbow! Those are always fun to look at. They’re so pretty, and I always think God has blessed us so well since he gives plants water and sometimes at the end of it he’ll reward us (for waiting for it to be over maybe?) with a pretty rainbow in the sky, and shows us he isn’t going to flood us down the drain. He’s always going to keep us safe from the storms. If he did put you in danger once or twice maybe he’s trying to test you or teach you a good lesson for being bad. πŸ˜‰ (So be good! Haha.)

So while you watch the storm, remember to pray to God and thank Him for making such a beautiful place for us all to live on together, and for keeping us safe in each storm He’s brought near you. πŸ™‚ I’m sure He’d like that. (I bet He doesn’t always get a good “thank you for the rain”, since I know it isn’t everyone’s favorite weather…)

Well that’s all I got–Wow! that was kind of long…but I hope you all liked that. πŸ™‚

Have a good May 1st, everyone!
~Abbie
